I. How to use the microscope:
1. Firstly, turn on the LED light
2. Place the specimen on the platform and clamp it with the retaining clip.
3. Tilt microscope body forward, rotate to adjust the position of the light and make the light shine to the position of the round hole in the middle of the carrier stage to provide an illumination light source. When there is no battery, you can adjust the position of the mirror. This allows more light to be focused on the lens and reflected back to the hole in the centre of the stage to provide a source of illumination.
4. Turn the objective turntable, limit ringing click, select the magnification you need, remember, the longer the objective lense, the greater the magnification. Generally speaking, you need to use the lowest magnification to start observing.
5. Turn the concentration button so that the objective lense is as close to the specimen as possible, and observe with your eyes from the eyepiece, then slowly move the lens barrel upwards in the reverse direction until the image is clear. (The larger the magnification, the larger and clearer the cells can be seen, you can choose a different magnification for observation, experiment.)
6. Four color filter has been installed in the bottom of the platform, you can rotate yourself to choose the appropriate colour to observe the specimen, in order to obtain different observation effects.
Second, the production of specimens:
1. Wipe the slide and coverslip clean.
2. Use tweezers to tweeze up, put in the middle of the slide.
3. Slice the sample thinly with sampling cutter.
4. Place a drop of water on the surfaces of the specimen with a dropper. If the sample is transparent, methylene blue or eosin dye can be applied instead. (Be very careful.)
5. Gently cover the coverslip, being careful not to get bubbles inside.
6. Use blotting paper to absorb the excess water or dye, and then you can start using the specimen you made for observation.
Third, the use of mobile phone connectors:
1. Remove the protective film from one side of the transparent removable sticker, carefully align the box on the mobile phone connector, and stick it neatly.
2. Removable sticker surfaces stained with grease or more dust, will reduce the adhesive strength with the back of the phone, can be wiped with a damp paper towel or rinse with water, can not be cleaned with a napkin, fine fibre hairs will stick to the surfaces of the removable sticker, weakening the adhesion.
3. Remove the mobile phone with removable sticker and the protective film of removable sticker from the machine, put the lens of the smartphone against the centre of the round hole of the mobile phone connector, and press the mobile phone and the mobile phone connector tightly.
4. Put the mobile phone connector into the microscope eyepiece.
5. Turn on the camera function of the mobile phone and rotate the adjusting focused knob until the image is clear. Then you can start to take clear pictures of the cells.
