Punctures caused by perforation or impact (curbs in the city or rocks when mountain biking...), - this is what every cyclist fears. Repairing or replacing a camera is not always an easy task.. The chamber needs to be inflated regularly. Thanks to its unique uneven design, the MICHELIN Protek Max bladder creates a compressive force if it is punctured or pinched (the hole is sealed naturally), while a regular camera is stretched (balloon effect). The self-sealing effect is enhanced by adding sealant during the manufacture of the chamber. Thanks to its square shape, the MICHELIN Protek Max tube sits naturally in the rim and does not twist, unlike a fully tubular conventional tube. The MICHELIN Protek Max air chamber can be installed twice a month, just like the classic MICHELIN AIRSTOP air chamber.
