What do iron overshoes have to do with it, I don't know...🤣🤣. It's a good attachment for the sole of an iron, I have almost the same one and it has served me for many years. What I didn't like about this one is that the sharp tip of the nose was bent forward and started scratching the fabric. I had to cut it off.

Good protective non-stick pad. Be careful when ironing jeans. Rivets on pockets tear the pad.
